Job description
We are looking for a Director of Compensation and Benefits. Reporting to the Sr. VP of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for the overall direction of planning, communication and administration of compensation and benefit strategies, policies, programs, practices and procedures. This individual will manage a team and play a key role in attracting, motivating, and retaining talent by providing highly competitive total compensation programs and responsible for the strategy, research, implementation and overall management of benefit programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement and administer compensation and long-term incentive total rewards programs.

• Provide strategic direction and input regarding overall compensation strategies that supports the culture, company direction and the business needs of the organization.
• Oversee the design, development and implementation of programs, tools and processes in the areas of base and incentive pay designed to improve management and employee performance and productivity.

• Use competitive compensation guidelines making recommendations to management for salary planning including annual merit process. .
• Direct and manage the assessment and effectiveness of all HR benefit programs. Develop and recommend employee benefit program changes ensuring market competitiveness and legal compliance. Plans include (Health, 401k, relocation, education reimbursement…)
• Provide guidance and makes recommendations to corporate management and associates on benefits issues, procedures, and policy plan interpretation.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA is desirable. Applicable certifications a plus
• 6 to 12 years of compensation and incentive design. Development and administration of benefit program experience
• Strong analytical quantitative and PC software skills required.
• Working knowledge of long-term incentive and variable incentive plans.
• Outstanding communication skills, not limited to but including: strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, consulting and process and project management skills.
• Experience with vendor selection, negotiation and relationship management.
• Must be able to work cross functionally to build compensation infrastructures and strategies.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a high performing team
• Must thrive in a fast pace and changing environment.
 
Candidate Must Have :
