| Job Description : |
Writes / Updates manufacturing and inspection procedures, process procedures and trains production personnel in special processes
Makes purchasing recommendations on production equipment/material and repairs existing equipment
Trains personnel in the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and performs audits on maintenance schedules
BS Degree (EE or equivalent) with 3-5+ years directly applicable work experience, with technical focus, or extensive sheet metal, brazing, welding experience strongly desired
- ACE certified at the associate level or higher desirable (LEAN experience acceptable)
- Trained in use of design software for development/analysis.
- Trained in the use of LabView for Test analysis highly desirable.
- Ability to work with little supervision, work is self directed
- Strong communication skills, analytical thought process, computer skills and attention to detail
- Initiates/leads problem solving teams
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams & related instructions
The position involves work on export controlled technology or projects.
US citizen or US permanent resident status is required
Provides solution designs/concepts for tooling, as well as review of discrepant materials
Develops standard hours for accounting or for proposals
Participate in the Design development process to enhance product produceability
Troubleshoot assembly issues, collect data for product improvement and turn backs and implement corrective actions and changes using ACE tools
Trained in use of design software for development/analysis
May author and maintain work instruction sheets
Leads root cause analysis/problem solvinf teams
Use statistical process control and other continuous improvements tools to achieve assembly quality goals
